Honey contains up to 200 different components such as enzymes, organic acids, vitamins, amino acids, and notably four active ingredients: glucoxidase that allows for the formation of oxygenated water at concentration level that is not cytotoxic, methylglycoxal whose activity is recognised in the skin regeneration process, peptides with properties analogous to those of β defensins and flavonoids, polyphenols with anti-free-radical properties.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural constituent of the connective tissue under the skin with an important role in ensuring the hydration, tonicity and elasticity of the skin. Thanks to its high osmotic activity, it is capable of retaining more that 1000 times its weight in water and restores the elasctic properties of the skin by ensuring its hydration.

Vitamin E is the organism’s main antioxidant and plays a role in anti-radical protection in numerous biological phenomena.

Vitamin A is necessary for the proper division of cells located in the basal layer of the epidermis. It regulates the migration and transformation of keratinocytes toward the corneal layer.

Shea butter and aloe vera, rich in mucilage, have emollient and hydrating properties.

Lavender essential oil participates in skin restoration.

 Clean and dry the area concerned then apply a thick layer.
Repeat according to veterinarian advice.
