Who we are
Officially registered in 1921, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) – better known as the SPCA - is the region’s longest standing and Hong Kong’s largest independent animal welfare charity. Our mission is to end animal cruelty, alleviate suffering, and protect the health and welfare of all animals across Hong Kong through actions, advocacy and education. With continuous support from the public, we hope to create a harmonious Hong Kong where all animals are treated with compassion and respect. As only 1% of our funds come from the Government, we rely heavily on the public’s support to maintain ongoing animal rescue and welfare work.
What you spend at the SPCA, help save those animal outdoors. All proceeds go back to helping our rescue animal and welfare programmes.
